We sought to craft a home that elevates daily life while embracing its natural surroundings.
Design Philosophy
Our vision for this home revolved around three guiding principles: connection, serenity, and innovation. Nestled just footsteps from the tranquil Perry Lakes Reserve, we saw an opportunity to create a residence that would merge the indoors with the outdoors, immersing its occupants in a harmonious dialogue with nature. The result? A home where architectural elegance meets thoughtful functionality.
A Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Connection
From the outset, the design revolved around dissolving boundaries. Expansive bi-folding doors, servery windows from the kitchen, and a lush rear courtyard work in unison to blur the lines between interior and exterior spaces. The alfresco dining area, with its open-flame fireplace and media nook, acts as an inviting stage for both intimate family moments and lively gatherings.

Outside, the sunken courtyard seating area creates a sanctuary-like ambiance, seamlessly integrating with the serene garden design. This intentional connection to nature fosters a sense of calm while creating opportunities to celebrate the outdoors year-round.
As architects, we believe that homes should provide spaces for rejuvenation and personal retreat. The master suite exemplifies this ethos with its luxurious private courtyard, rain shower, and free-standing spa bath. Every element was designed to create a retreat that feels like stepping into a personal wellness haven—an oasis of calm in a busy world.
The home’s flowing floor plan reflects our belief in the importance of communal spaces. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and bar areas encourage interaction while ensuring functionality is never compromised. Every design choice—from the placement of the breakfast bar to the integration of storage—was meticulously considered to enrich daily routines and social moments.
Upstairs, the dedicated theatre room brings families together, offering a cinematic experience in the comfort of home. This space balances technology and aesthetics, creating an entertainment hub that remains both functional and inviting.
